What We're Doing
Upcoming Service Events

Sheltering Our Neighbors Network
Emmanuel is in on the foundation- building for the Sheltering our Neighbors Network, a Clackamas County Temporary family shelter effort. Local churches and social service agencies will be collaborating to house at least 6 homeless families while they await more stable housing. To find out how you can ne a part of this effort, give the church office  a call.

Addictions Recovery

AA

Emmanuel is home to 3 different AA groups. Each week, we open our facilities to a Women's AA group on Wednesday evenings at 6 p.m., and an AA and  Alanon group on Sunday evenings at 8 p.m.

Letty Owings Center

Emmanuel also sponsors a wonderful community recovery program for young mothers with children ~
the Letty Owings Center.
Letty Owings was a former member of this church and is a founder of the Letty Owings Center. We have honored her legacy by naming our meeting hall, the Owings hall, after her, and continuing the tradition of supporting this wonderful organization.

In December, Emmanuel hosted our Annual Letty Owings Center Christmas Party! We were able to shower the mothers and their little ones with Christmas gifts, snacks, and a wonderful time. We were in turn blessed with smiles, giggles, and a vision of hope.

We welcomed Letty Owings, founder of the Letty Owings center, as our guest for the party.

We now look forward to our Annual Letty Owings Center Christmas In July celebration! This is another opportunity to share our lives with the courageous women and children of the Letty Owings Center.

Mental Health

Safe Haven

Once a month, members of our congregation host a social here at Emmanuel for members of "Safe Haven"~ a community support organization for the mentally ill.

The social provides a safe, interactive time and place for Safe Haven members to visit and get to know one another and Emmanuel members better. It is always a lot of fun... filled with some of the zaniest karaoke and tastiest food this side of heaven!

The Arts
Not only is Emmanuel the home of many local artists (who have been featured at Starbuck's as "Artist of the Month"), but we support our local art community. One way we do this is by opening our doors to different groups throughout the year.

Music

Emmanuel is  home to the West Linn Community Chorus, a group of local vocal musicians that perform around the community at various events throughout the year. Emmanuel is proud to have such a wonderful group of people gracing our doors on a regular basis.

Giving

 Dignity Village
Emmanuel has decided to support the residents of Dignity Village in North Portland by building at least one Laundry/ Showering Facility on the Village premises. To get involved in this ministry, contact the church office at epcwestlinn@comcast.net

Habitat for Humanity

Emmanuel loves to share what we have with others. We are currently sharing our time and talent to work with a Habitat for Humanity project... a duplex that will be built to house not just one, but two families!

Clackamas Service Center Community Food Barrel
Looking for a place to donate food?
Our church building is conveniently located right on Highway 43 (Willamette Drive). We are a collection site for the Clackamas County Community Service Center. Bring your nonperishable items or monetary donations to the church and drop them off in the barrel or church office.

Let's work together on lifting others up in the community.
